November/December 2017 Empties!

Hi everyone! I hope you have had a fab Christmas whatever you got up to! I have been enjoying spending time with family and been at work! Over the past two months I really haven’t used up that many products! So here is my last empties of the year!

NYX HD Concealer
I really like this concealer, it does oxidise slightly orange around the edges when applied, especially after first starting to use it. But I find that the oxidisation blends out and doesn’t make the skin look orange. I think it’s fab for everyday use as well as going out makeup, plus it’s super affordable!

NYX White Liquid Liner
This is a very pigmented eyeliner, however when it dries it dries cracked. Making it look patchy and crusty.

No 7 Airbrush Away Primer
I love this primer! I have been using it for ages now and it has finally all gone! If you want to read a more in depth review you can here!

Good Things Total Wipe Out Cleansing Wipes
I like these wipes as they are biodegradable and smell nice. I did find them to be slightly drying on my combination skin when used. I was also just for cleansing the skin – which I like mine to also take off any remaining traces of makeup that hasn’t come off with the initial removal. These wipes don’t, which for me is a deal breaker as I then have to add in another product to take off any remaining makeup.

Urban Decay Quick Fix
I really like this spray, it hydrates my skin when it needs it throughout the day and smells like coconuts! It feels really nice on my skin and doesn’t break me out! I only have a travel size of this spray as I don’t use it all the time, only when my skin needs a burst of hydration. For me it’s a little bit of pamper throughout a day and just gives my skin a little boost.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
This was a fancy treat I bought myself as part of a gift set to see what the hype was around Liz Earle skincare. I’m not overly impressed with it. It does leave my skin soft and doesn’t break my skin out. For me it wasn’t worth the hype, it felt nice to use.
Repurchase – No, I’ll try a different hot cloth cleanser next time.

Liz Earle Instant Tonic Boost Skin Tonic
Containing naturally active ingredients like aloe vera, cucumber and rose-scented geranium. I used this after using the Liz Earle hot cloth. Whilst it was nice on my skin, didn’t irritate it or break out my skin I found it indifferent to the Sukin ones I use.
Repurchase – No

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser
With naturally active ingredients such as avocado oil and borage, I bought this as part of a trio along with the hot cloth and skin tonic. I used this when using the Liz Earle Hot Cloth as well as the toner after. However for me it didn’t really do much. It was a good moisturiser and didn’t break my skin out. But didn’t really wow me, I have other moisturisers that work just as well that aren’t as expensive.
Repurchase – No

And that is it for my last empties post of the year! I have enjoyed doing mini reviews of what I have been using up throughout the months. I find sometimes I want to do a review on a product and either don’t get around to it or just find it a meh product.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you’re enjoying your Christmas break no matter what you’re up to! Until next time!
