Hello everyone, today I have something a bit different, a clothing haul and review from the brand Femme Luxe. I have also uploaded a new Youtube video too! Not long ago I was contacted by Femme Luxe* to see if I was interested in reviewing some of their clothes. The brand is UK based women’s clothing store, which can be found here.
I had seen their range online by a few people I follow on Instagram, so after looking at their clothing range I decided to take on this opportunity! I picked out 4 of my favourite outfits from the blogger section and eagerly anticipated the parcel to arrive!
The first outfit I chose was this Beige Leopard Print Two Piece Set, this was the piece that I knew I needed to try. I don’t usually go for animal print, I’ve just never seen anything I like. However when I saw this it caught my attention. For £20.99, the set comes with two pieces, a crop top and high waisted trousers made of a stretchy material. I got a size 8 in both, you can’t chose a separate size for the top or trousers. I really like this set, I think they are super comfy and can be mixed and matched with other pieces. I would definitely wear the top with black jeans for a more casual type of look.
The only thing I would say is that the trousers are slightly loose at the top, I prefer tighter fitting trousers. But it isn’t massively noticeable and they stay on my waist without looking baggy or falling down.
The next item I picked was another set, this one is Rose Long Sleeve Rainbow Tracksuit. I don’t usually wear tracksuits, just tracksuit bottoms at home to chill in. Again as this came in a set you could only choose one size for both pieces, I got a size 8. For £19.99, this set looked super pretty online and comfy. I can be quite fussy with how the bottoms look, I prefer a tighter fit. However, this set wasn’t what I expected at all. On the model the trousers look like a tight fit. But on me they are super baggy around the top and I just look silly! The top was a better fit, but more of a Spring/Summer piece. The material is super thin and stretchy. Overall I’m not really a fan of this set.
Next is a Black Bardot Knitted Mini Dress, the picture online looked like it would be comfy and perfect for the Autumn. For £14.99 this knitted dress looked nice on, but it is so see-through! I also found the material at the top was quite tight on my arms, it wasn’t super uncomfortable but I noticed it was tighter than I’d like. If this wasn’t so see-through I would definitely wear this dress!
The final piece I chose was something that I way out of my comfort zone, the Black Multi Stripe Belted Jumpsuit. I chose this just to push myself out of my comfort zone with fashion. For £20.99 this stripe jumpsuit has a very deep V-neck, made from a stretchy material. I got a size 8 and it fits pretty well. It isn’t too tight that I can’t move or breathe but not baggy either. As someone with boobs on the smaller side, I couldn’t not wear something underneath. The top part was slightly loose which would cause multiple nip slips if nothing was worn underneath. So I wore a black bralette to keep everything in place. Nipple covers could also be worn but as I don’t have any a bralette was the next option. I think it looks pretty with the bralette underneath. Whilst this is something I would never usually got for, it mixes things up nicely in my wardrobe!
Those are all the pieces I got from Femme Luxe. Overall it’s a mixed review, my favourite piece being the beige leopard print set. Thank you to Femme Luxe for reaching out to me, I have got some fab new pieces for my wardrobe!
I hope you guys have enjoyed this post, it’s something a bit different to what I usually do. I have also uploaded a new Youtube video, a get to know me tag so please check that out too! Thank you so much for reading, until next time
