Over the last year I have really been loving glosses and so my collection has grown quite a bit. So whilst on the hunt for glosses I came across so many good reviews on Buxom lip glosses and saw many being used by my favourite YouTubers, one that came up a lot was Buxom’s White Russian.
I’d never really heard of Buxom much before then, I saw them in Debenhams stores but never really ventured over.
When I swatched this on my hand it was a creamy pink, no glitter, no shimmer just a light gloss. Which was a shade I didn’t have in my collection. For £15 you get 4.45ml of product, compared to Soap & Glory’s lip glosses for £9 you get 7ml of product. Buxom can be found at Debenhams and Cult Beauty. Full-On Lip Cream is described on Debenhams.com as;
No shimmer, no glimmer – just plumping, creamy, glassy – smooth gloss with decadent colour, intoxicating shine and a refreshing tingle. Hyaluronic filling spheres help infuse lips with moisture, while vitamins A and E help keep lips soft, smooth and protected. Lip plumping. Sheer-to-medium coverage. Available in 14 cocktail inspired shades.
The packaging on this gloss is really boujee, with a frosted tube and silver top matching the logo. It smells very fresh, almost minty. When applied it has a slight tingling sensation but I don’t mind that. I really like the formula of this gloss, it’s not too wet and it’s not sticky. I like to wear this over the top of lipsticks and liquid lipsticks and it gives a pretty shine.
Overall I really like this lipgloss, it is super pretty to wear on top of lipsticks, I don’t often wear it on it’s own as it gives a weird creamy sheen to my lips that doesn’t show up when layered with lipsticks. It feels hydrating to wear and it super comfortable. Do you love wearing gloss, if so what is your favourite brand? Thank you so much for reading, until next time
