Is Liz Earle Skincare Worth It?

I love trying skincare, Liz Earle is a brand I haven’t really tried anything from. So when I got this gift set I was looking forward to trying it out. I’ve scored each product what I would give it out of 10. I’ll quickly disclaim that my skin type is a combination of oily/dry.

I haven’t tried many of Liz Earle’s skincare, except the Cleanse & Polish years ago which I didn’t think was worth the hype. But I wanted to give it another go as it had been so long since I had tried it. The Cleanse & Soothe Collection is £75 (which is no longer available to buy as a set) includes the Cleanse & Polish, Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion and Superskin SuperLip balm. It’s described in Boots.com as:

Say hello to radiance for all skin types with this beautiful Liz Earle collection. Featuring the UK’s No.1 cleanser**, Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser (complete with 2 pure cotton cloths), to reveal clearer, brighter-looking skin; plus floral-scented Instant Boost™ Skin Tonic for an instant hit of hydration. Also included is Eyebright™ Soothing Eye Lotion, a gentle herbal infusion that works to instantly revitalise tired, puffy eyes, and the finishing touch of Superskin™ Superlip Balm, renowned for leaving lips beautifully soft and visibly plump.

Cleanse & Polish Hot Clothe Cleanser
I like to work this into my skin with my fingers before washing it off with warm water and the muslin cloth. It leaves my skin really soft and gets rid of any makeup whether I have a full face of glam or a simple everyday look it washes 95% of the products away!

Instant Boost Skin Tonic
Toner isn’t something I’m always convinced of, but this one is a nice addition to my skincare routine. It feels hydrating on my skin and hasn’t broken me out or irritated my skin. I use this mainly for my morning toner then use either a Pixi or Ole Henrickson toner in the evening to help combat spots. I’m not sure whether I’d repurchase, I think it’s good but prefer the Pixi Rose Tonic.
7/10

Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion
This claims to ‘revitalise tired eyes’ and I disagree. I personally haven’t seen any difference using this lotion in the morning and I find it’s not hydrating enough to use at night. I think it’s okay, but not something I’d repurchase.
5/10

Superskin Superlip balm
I really like this lip balm, it’s probably one of the best I’ve used. It’s super hydrating and makes my lips look plump and fuller. I use this both during the day and before bed, it just does everything I want a lip balm to do. When I use this before bed, my lips feel really hydrated and nourished in the morning. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this (even if it is a bit pricey at £16!).
10/10

Overall I have really enjoyed trying out more from Liz Earle, my favourites being the Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth and Superlip balm and would highly recommend them if you’re looking for some new skincare to try out! What’s your fave skincare product, let me know in the comments below! Thank you for reading, until next time
