Fenty Match Stixs | Review

I had been wanting to try a cream contour and blush for so long, but could never find a shade that suited my skin tone, it was either too orange or too ashy. But when I saw then Fenty Match Stix with their huge shade range, when I was in Bristol I popped into Harvey Nichols and had a look, and came out with more than 1 Match Stix! You can also see what else I got on my shopping trip here!

The Fenty Match Stixs both Matte and Shimmer are £21 each and described as:

A magnetized contour & concealer stick in a longwear, light-as-air matte formula to conceal, correct, contour, and touch up in 20 shades.

Meet the magnetized longwear makeup sticks that come together in two light-as-air finishes and a shade lineup to satisfy your every need: MATTE Skinsticks conceal, correct, and contour. SHIMMER Skinsticks highlight, blush, and enhance—so you can mix and match, magnetize and multiply.

Fenty Match Stixs shades from the top: Mocha, Yacht Life and Starstruck

With Match Stix MATTE Skinsticks, conceal, correct, and contour in 20 shades obsessively fine-tuned and tested to look good on the full spectrum of skin tones. Made to layer, the buildable cream-to-powder formula is weightless and super easy to blend, but also stays put. No creasing and caking when you apply it—so even the delicate undereye area is fair game.

Match Stix SHIMMER Skinstick lets you highlight, blush, and enhance with its sick rainbow lineup: 10 universal shimmer highlighter colors that catch light in ways you never dreamed of. From low-key tangerine sheen to all-out violet iridescence, this longwear cream-to-powder highlighter stick is weightless, blendable, and LIVES to be layered.

Using the Match Stixs in Mocha, Yacht Life and Starstruck

There are so many shades to choose from in the Match Stixs range, suiting so many skin tones and preferences! I love the packaging of these, they are hexagon and magnetic, so they all fit perfectly together and stay together!

It took me a few tries with these cream products to find how I preferred to use them and how intense to make them. I find it’s easiest to warm the contour shade Mocha and blush shade Yacht Life first by applying it to the back of my hand before picking up the product with a brush. It is also easier to build up the intensity too.

I always set the Match Stixs in place by using a powder contour, blush and highlight over the top. Just to make sure they are set before setting the entire face with a setting spray.

Match Stixs last all day and I set I have loved having these in my collection! They are so easy to use and perfect for both daytime looks and glam nights out! I highly recommend them if you’re looking to try out cream products or if you want to add them to your collection! I’ll definitely be picking up some more blush shades! Thank you so much for reading, until next time
