Hello everyone! The UK has had such beautiful weather over the past few weeks! I think I am permanently on the late band wagon, it took me so long to try a liquid highlighter! However in my defence I didn’t want to fork out £30+ on the Iconic London liquid highlighters as I didn’t know if I would like it plus I couldn’t justify spending that much. I also found there weren’t many cruelty free drugstore ones in my local Boots that I could swatch. I had looked at the Makeup Revolution liquid highlighters but the ones that were in stock weren’t shades that would suit me.
On Saturday July 7th I set off to the capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh. I had never been that far up North, nor had I ever been to Scotland. As we live quite a way down south, it would take us around 6 hours to get to Edinburgh. We decided to get the 6.19am train, that way we arrived in Edinburgh around 12.30pm and we had the rest of the afternoon to explore our new home for the next few days.
It has been a very long time since I have written a favourites post. It’s mainly because it has been so busy with uni over the past few months and I hadn’t really tried many new products that I had fallen in love with. Now after doing some shopping and getting round to trying new products I have a mid-year favourites! It’s mainly some new products with a few previous faves thrown in!
To celebrate finally going .com on my blog I thought I would reminisce and I looked back through my first blog posts. Giving me the inspiration to recreate one of my first makeup looks. I chose to do one of the first rather than the first as I wanted to do something with colour. So here is my recreation of my Pop of Green Makeup Tutorial!
Hello everyone, hope you are all well! I don’t usually post on a Friday nor ever in the morning! But I am going away for the weekend and so thought I would post something before I went as sometimes I find that posts don’t always go up when I schedule them! Anyway enough rambling! It has been a really long time since I bought makeup that wasn’t just a repurchase of an essential such as concealer. I have been super busy over the past few months finishing up my first year of uni and decided to wait until I finished to have a good splurge!
A few weeks ago I was contacted by Mel Blue about reviewing some of her products. I have seen Unicorn Cosmetics all over Beauty Bay as well as social media so of course I said yes! I was super excited to try some of her products and have been loving trying them out over the past few weeks!
Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Earlier in the week Urban Decay had a pre-sale of their new Born To Run palette. As soon as I saw it I knew it was something I needed in my collection. I don’t have a palette like it and I love the mix of neutrals and colour shadows.
I have been thinking about writing this for a little while as I enjoy reading these types of posts. I have a few products in my collection that really didn’t live up to the hype or didn’t work for me. Whilst this is part of buying makeup and finding things that work for you, it can still be annoying especially if it was high end.
Do you ever get the feeling where you feel like the person you were even 12 months ago wasn’t you? The person you were 12 months ago seems like a distant far off version of yourself, a skin that has been shed long ago.
