Stila have been killing it with their Glitter & Glow range, I adore using the products! It makes a super glittery look super easy to achieve and with virtually no mess! So when I received a gift set that had their Shimmer & Glow range in I was unsure how much I would use them. I had never really used a liquid eyeshadow. But oh my gosh, this range is just as beautiful as the Glitter and Glow!

With the run up to Christmas fast approaching, I thought I would review my first Kylie Cosmetics order. During the summer (which feels like forever ago) Kylie Cosmetics had a discount on some of the products, which I thought was the perfect time to try a few different formulas. Whilst I don’t really take much of an interest in what the Kardashian/Jenner family do, I have been curious to try Kylie’s makeup line. I’ve seen so many reviews, some good some bad and I guess it’s safe to say curiosity got the better of me.
Hello, I’m back today with my current fave autumn/winter lip shades! As the cooler weather has been setting in here in the UK I have dug out my berries and brown tones and I am loving wearing them again. Seems like forever since I wore a berry red lip! I have rounded up all my favourite shades I have been loving wearing recently, so let’s get started!
A little while ago I saw the XO Balm all over my social media, with fellow bloggers raving about how good it was. Curiosity got the better of me, so I messaged Charlotte, the owner, and she kindly sent me over my very own XO Balm*! As the weather is getting colder, my skin gets even drier. Which can lead to dry patches all over and eczema, I’ve tried a few moisturisers to help my dry skin and was curious to see if this one could beat them.
After going through my makeup collection and rearranging how I organise my collection, I realised there were a number of products I either don’t reach for any more or just never use. So I thought what better way to make use of them and see if I still like them than to do a makeup look with them!
There are a few products I haven’t included as there are either none in my collection I don’t like or none I have I don’t use. Products used to create this look;Continue reading
For a while now I have had the No7 Flawless Finish Blending Sponge and it took me a while to try it – shocker – as I get stuck in a rut sometimes using the same products. I got this as my Mum had the No 7 Advent Calendar and gave it to me as she wouldn’t use it. So it has been in my draw of things to try for a few months, before it was time to switch beauty sponges. No 7 isn’t really a brand I see a lot about online so I was intrigued to see how this beauty sponge would perform.Continue reading
Whilst this is slightly embarrassing to admit, this did teach me more than one lesson. Recently I was out shopping for some winter clothes. So in the changing room I was trying on jumpers, but had no pockets to put my phone anywhere and there was no stool in the changing room. One of the jumpers had pockets, so I put my phone in there whilst I tried everything on. After trying everything on I handed back the items I didn’t want and carried on with my shop.Continue reading
Within the beauty community there are always drugstore products being compared to high end products and vice versa. So when I saw a few people I watch on YouTube saying they preferred the NYX Matte Liquid Liner to the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner aka my fave, I knew I wanted to try it. Not only because it’s £7 but also because I am looking to replace my Tattoo Liner as I disagree with Kat’s choice for not vaccinating her child – but that’s a different story.
This morning when I woke up, all over my Twitter timeline were tweets about Ariana Grande’s new song Thank U, Next. As soon as I heard it I felt empowered. I felt like this song is something amazing, rather than slating an ex or anything like that the song thanks them for the lessons she’s learnt. Then turning it into how she’s turned out from all those experiences. It got me thinking about the lessons I’ve learnt from previous relationships.I have been in two relationships, one was an abusive one and the other not. Whilst I don’t want to name the two, I think for me it’ll be a really positive thing to think about the positives of a relationship rather than be ashamed of things that have happened.Continue reading
