Some makeup trends come and go, others stick around and as the year is coming to a close I wanted to share my beauty favourites, but I’ve added a twist – comparing the products I loved in 2016 to the ones I have been loving this year! Hello everyone! Today I am doing a blog post that I don’t think I have done before; a full face using my favourite products from the drugstore! It could also be called My Staple Drugstore Products, but companies are always evolving and bringing out something new. So it’s difficult to say this one thing will always be my staple when it might not be in a few months time. Some are more mid-range within the drugstore but they can all be bought for under £15! Hello everyone, I hope you are well! The UK had a gorgeous few months and it inspired me to start a weather inspired makeup series here on my blog. I have never done a series on my blog before and so thought that I would give it a go! In this series I will be creating wearable looks that are inspired by the seasons and the weather!
In my two years of blogging I have never done a post like this. Over the past few weeks I have had a lot of weekends away, so thought I would share with you what products I take away with me! Personally I only like to take makeup I know is going to work and that I love. This way I know when I’m getting ready I haven’t got to worry about anything creasing or smudging or looking like a hot mess. Plus I don’t like to spend too long on my makeup for the day as I want to be out exploring and making the most of my time off!
It has been a very long time since I have written a favourites post. It’s mainly because it has been so busy with uni over the past few months and I hadn’t really tried many new products that I had fallen in love with. Now after doing some shopping and getting round to trying new products I have a mid-year favourites! It’s mainly some new products with a few previous faves thrown in!
