At the beginning of September the UK had a beautiful weekend, and to make the most of it I went with a friend to Waterperry, which is a village just outside of Oxford. I came across this little village whilst scrolling though Instagram, I don’t remember who posted a picture there, but I looked it up on the maps and it was just over an hours drive away. It has been on an open tab on my phone, along with many other things, reminding me of somewhere I wanted to visit.
This summer has been an eventful one, so I thought I would do a post I have never done before: summarising my summer. In the three months I had off for uni so much has happened in such a short space of time. I went from dating someone to being single again. I have travelled to the beaches of Weymouth and visiting Scotland for the first time. I got a promotion at work, I have tried things I never thought I would and it has flown by!
Hello everyone, I hope you are well! The UK had a gorgeous few months and it inspired me to start a weather inspired makeup series here on my blog. I have never done a series on my blog before and so thought that I would give it a go! In this series I will be creating wearable looks that are inspired by the seasons and the weather!
It’s only a few days until I’m back at uni, and to be honest I’m nervous. Not for the course or the work load, I definitely learnt my lesson last year in how to juggle everything on my plate. But more for that the first year went by so quickly. It doesn’t feel like I should be a second year with only this year to go before completing my HND.
Over the last few months I have unintentionally bought quite a few new bits of makeup and so thought I would share what I have accumulated over the last few months! I did a haul in June and since then I have been away a few times and treated myself to a few goodies I have been eyeing up for a while.
Hello everyone! Recently I have been wanting to be more creative and so I was on the hunt for another colourful palette. I had seen the Certifeye palettes on social media and the shade range looked so pretty in the Tropical Wonders palette.
Last week my best friend and I went to spend the day in Bath. I have been to Bath a handful of times, for me it’s under an hour away on the train, but I haven’t really gone to Bath for any other reason than to go shopping or to their Christmas Market. So when my best friend and I both had a day off we decided to spend the day in Bath and explore more of the city!
As I write this post I am in the middle of my summer holidays, something I thought I had left behind a few years ago. I never thought going to university was for me, for starters a) I only have NVQ qualifications not A Levels so I didn’t think a university would take me on and b) I never knew what I wanted to take, I always thought an English degree but was never 100% as to which one.
I love a good winged liner, so when I find a liner that ticks all the boxes I find it hard to try something new. However, when I saw the Stila Stay All Day Liquid being compared to my holy grail Kat Von D liner I knew I needed to see what it was all about.
