Hello everyone! I hope you are all smashing your week! I have had the Becca Aqua Luminous Concealer for a while and had been meaning to write this post fo a while. For a while I was on the hunt for a high end concealer, I wanted to treat myself and whilst I was in Edinburgh last summer I finally found one that matched my skin tone, you can see what other goodies I got here. As someone who has a pale complexion with a neutral undertone, it can be difficult to find a pale concealer that isn’t yellow or pink toned. Many high end brands seem to do two pale concealers – one with a yellow undertone and the other pink. Or that are just look orange on me. So when Becca’s Aqua Luminous was a match I knew it was meant to be.Continue reading

Hello you lovely lot! Earlier in the month it was my birthday, this year rather than get myself loads of treats I bought myself a holiday to Amsterdam, which is where I am right now! Of course there were a few things I had my eye on and decided to treat myself to, couldn’t say no to using my birthday as the excuse to pick them up!Continue reading

Hello everyone, with the weather becoming somewhat colder and the skies greyer it inspired me to do this smokey eye I saw Desi Perkins do on her channel. It reminded me of the cloudy skies we’ve been having here in the UK.
Starting with the smokey eyes using a charcoal grey and black on the outer corner, smoking it out to a cat eye before adding on a shimmering grey on the lid of the eye. Blending out the charcoal grey and black on the lower lash line too. I then added lashes and black liner on water line. I then did the rest of my makeup, keeping the lips neutral to focus the look on the eyes.Continue reading
Hello everyone! I can’t believe how cold it’s been here in the UK, as a result I have been suffering from a cold over the last week. It needs to hurry up and go! Anyway onto todays post I have all the makeup and skincare I’ve used up over the last 3 months! This year I have been doing empties every three months instead of every two like I did last year, making this one the penultimate one before the end of the year. Which is mad to think about as there is so much of the year left!
Hello everyone, I hope you are well! The UK had a gorgeous few months and it inspired me to start a weather inspired makeup series here on my blog. I have never done a series on my blog before and so thought that I would give it a go! In this series I will be creating wearable looks that are inspired by the seasons and the weather!
Over the last few months I have unintentionally bought quite a few new bits of makeup and so thought I would share what I have accumulated over the last few months! I did a haul in June and since then I have been away a few times and treated myself to a few goodies I have been eyeing up for a while.
To celebrate finally going .com on my blog I thought I would reminisce and I looked back through my first blog posts. Giving me the inspiration to recreate one of my first makeup looks. I chose to do one of the first rather than the first as I wanted to do something with colour. So here is my recreation of my Pop of Green Makeup Tutorial!
