After seeing the Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Prismatic Amethyst on my social media, it was immediately added onto my wishlist. Everything about this highlight drew it to me. Not just because it’s all purple and has amethyst in the name!Continue reading
Hi everyone! I hope you are all okay! As we are now 3 months into 2017, cue cliche saying of I can’t believe 3 months of 2017 has already gone! Seriously where is the time going!? But for real though how does it go by so quickly? I thought I would do a 3 month update of how my goals are going.
In my Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017 post I mentioned a handful of goals I wanted to achieve this year. In the post I didn’t include all the goals I wanted to achieve this year, so with the updates there will be some I included in the post and others I wrote down to do. Now that we are about to enter April I wanted to reflect on the things I’ve achieved so far off my Goal List and get motivation to tick even more things off in the next few months!Continue reading
Hi everyone! I hope you are all well where ever you are! Monday evening I really wanted to do a makeup look but I couldn’t decide what I wanted. I didn’t want to do a full glam look nor did I want to do a simple look. So after searching for inspiration for a while I came across Desi Perkins doing a graphic glitter liner. I decided to try doing a graphic liner as I’ve not tried one before and I am so happy with how it turned out!
Hello everyone! I hope you are all well! I am loving this warmer weather we have been getting on and off here in the UK! I was inspired to so a super simple glowy look incorporating green. So I decided to do a green lower lash line paired with simple eye makeup. I love how this looks! Plus any shades can be used and it spices up a simple look!
Hi everyone and happy Friday! This is my 100th blog post here on Amethyst Rose Beauty, which is pretty crazy because it doesn’t feel like I’ve done 100 of them! I absolutely love blogging and I’m excited to see where the journey continues to take me! My blogging schedule has been off for the past few weeks as I’ve been pretty busy offline. Next week should be the week it starts getting back to normal!
Although we are now 8 days into the new year and I have written up goals I want to achieve in the next 357 days. I was on the fence on whether it was too late to write this post, but it’s better late than never. 2016 for me was a really crazy year, I know a lot of people have been saying how bad it has been for them and on some things I can agree. I’ve had some pretty tough things go on in my life last year that I never envisioned at the beginning of 2016.
But in all honesty I’m glad I had to deal with tough times because life isn’t always happiness and sunshine (as much as Id like it to be). The toughest thing 2016 brought was being unemployed for a short spell, by unfortunate luck both Tom and myself around the same time. I’ve been working for 5 years and it was so difficult to secure a full time job. Employers either wanted more experience or I had too much. It was a never ending cycle and each interview I began to loose hope that someone would employ me. I also tried working in different environments that didn’t suit me and I realised how nasty some people can be just because I’m different from them. Luckily I started a new job last Autumn and T is about to start his tomorrow.Continue reading
For a few weeks now I have wanted to change my blog name. I just felt it was no longer me. I made this blog at the beginning of the year when I was in a very different place to where I am now.
The past few months have been a whirlwind for me, lots of changes and things have happened. October has been a busy month for me as I started a new job at the beginning of the month. I have a handful of favourites this month, I’ve been getting it into a new routine and still testing out some new purchases. So lets jump in!
Hello everyone and happy Wednesday! The weekend has almost crept upon us. I have decided to write this post about my decision to only use Cruelty Free products as it has become something I feel strongly about. It has been a few months since I had really come across being cruelty free and since then I have been intrigued and finding more information about the things I put inside my body as well as the products I use on my body.
This blog post is in collaboration with Glasha from Blogging Little Beauty Things, we decided to do a collaboration of our Top 5 current favourite drugstore products. I don’t know about you, but I love drugstore products! Some great gems and dupes can be found among the many shelves.
