This morning when I woke up, all over my Twitter timeline were tweets about Ariana Grande’s new song Thank U, Next. As soon as I heard it I felt empowered. I felt like this song is something amazing, rather than slating an ex or anything like that the song thanks them for the lessons she’s learnt. Then turning it into how she’s turned out from all those experiences. It got me thinking about the lessons I’ve learnt from previous relationships. Continue reading
In my two years of blogging I have never done a post like this. Over the past few weeks I have had a lot of weekends away, so thought I would share with you what products I take away with me! Personally I only like to take makeup I know is going to work and that I love. This way I know when I’m getting ready I haven’t got to worry about anything creasing or smudging or looking like a hot mess. Plus I don’t like to spend too long on my makeup for the day as I want to be out exploring and making the most of my time off!
A while ago I was contacted by Mel from Unicorn Cosmetics to try some of her products. She kindly sent me over some products of my choice to try, some lashes – which you can read a review here – this beauty egg and a lipgloss. It took me a while to jump on the beauty sponge band wagon, but I have been really enjoying using them and was looking forward to trying this one out!
There are a lot of things that happen every day. Things that can be positive as well as things that can be negative. There are those things that we take for granted, things we don’t realise we’ll miss until they don’t happen for what ever reason. And so today I wanted to make myself a positive list of 10 things that make me happy. Because happiness is key.
I thought it was about time I jumped on the metallic lip bandwagon and see what it was about for myself. I picked up two NYX Liquid Suede Metallic Matte in the shades Pure Society and Biker Babe.
Since everything in my life has been a lot less hectic and I am getting better at balancing everything, I thought it was about time I did this post. Originally I wanted to do a giveaway for when I hit 2,000, but when I hit 2,000 it was in the middle of everything going on over the summer. So I decided to wait until everything had settled and I was feeling more positive about life.
Hello everyone! I am still settling into my new routine and so my blog has been taking a back seat for a little while. As I am getting used to the routine please bear with me! Hopefully soon I’ll get back into balancing everything equally! Onto today’s post! Since I got the No 7 Airbrush Away Primer in their Advent Calendar last year it has been my Holy Grail primer. It’s the best primer I’ve ever used and it does all the things I want it to. Seeing as I use it for all my tutorials and everyday makeup, I thought it was about time I do a review on it!
There’s no denying my love for Becca highlighters. I’ve had my eye on Pearl for a little while and since it finally made it onto my collection it’s been firmly placed in my daily routine! Continue reading
Growing up I was never someone who was naturally confident. I was shy and had zero self confidence. I over thought and over analysed everything and I never felt good enough. I would look at the girls around me and wonder why I couldn’t be more like them: prettier, loads of friends and super confident.
I have been really wanting to do an orange eye with a green wing and I am happy I have finally been able to do this look! I wasn’t sure what to call it as I literally just wanted to do orange eyes and a green wing, so calling this look orange inspired seemed appropriate!
