Hello everyone, it has been a really long time since I shared any makeup looks with you. So with the festive season upon us, I thought I would share two super quick and easy makeup looks!Continue reading
No matter what the price, you either love a product or can live without it. When it comes to the drugstore makeup, it’s no secret that there can be some absolute gems on the shelves. Beating their high end counterpart. So after reorganising my collection
again, I thought I would share a few products I can’t live without!
Hello everyone, I hope you are having a fab festive season! I have been busy wrapping presents and getting as much uni work done before tomorrow so I can relax for a few days! Every 6 months or so I like to go through my collection and really have a good sort out of what I’ve been using, what may have expired and makeup I just haven’t reached for. So with the end of year fast approaching I emptied my entire makeup collection onto my bedroom floor and went through everything.
Hello, I’m back today with my current fave autumn/winter lip shades! As the cooler weather has been setting in here in the UK I have dug out my berries and brown tones and I am loving wearing them again. Seems like forever since I wore a berry red lip! I have rounded up all my favourite shades I have been loving wearing recently, so let’s get started!Continue reading
Hello everyone! Today I am doing a blog post that I don’t think I have done before; a full face using my favourite products from the drugstore! It could also be called My Staple Drugstore Products, but companies are always evolving and bringing out something new. So it’s difficult to say this one thing will always be my staple when it might not be in a few months time. Some are more mid-range within the drugstore but they can all be bought for under £15! So without further ado here is a makeup look using all my current favourites!
I decided to use a green liner as I don’t have a drugstore black one that I love, and I love to use the Vivid Brights from NYX as they are easy to use and add a pop of colour to any makeup look!Continue reading
Hello everyone, with the weather becoming somewhat colder and the skies greyer it inspired me to do this smokey eye I saw Desi Perkins do on her channel. It reminded me of the cloudy skies we’ve been having here in the UK.
Starting with the smokey eyes using a charcoal grey and black on the outer corner, smoking it out to a cat eye before adding on a shimmering grey on the lid of the eye. Blending out the charcoal grey and black on the lower lash line too. I then added lashes and black liner on water line. I then did the rest of my makeup, keeping the lips neutral to focus the look on the eyes.Continue reading
There are many nudes out there, with different undertones, formulas, finishes leading to so many choices. As I was reorganising my collection I was brainstorming blog posts I wanted to do. So after checking my archives I realised I’ve never done a post dedicated to my favourite nudes; and without further ado here they are!Continue reading
Over the last few months I have unintentionally bought quite a few new bits of makeup and so thought I would share what I have accumulated over the last few months! I did a haul in June and since then I have been away a few times and treated myself to a few goodies I have been eyeing up for a while.
At the beginning of July I went to Edinburgh and it was such an amazing time, you can check out Day One Day Two, Day Three and Day Four if you want to see what we got up to! During that trip away I bought a few things and was gifted a few for doing well in my HNC. I picked up the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer in Porcelain from Space NK. I don’t live near a Space NK and had been looking for a new concealer for a while. I had seen a few good reviews on this concealer and it was a good shade for my skin tone.Continue reading
If you’ve seen my June Haul, you’ll have seen the Certifeye Tropical Wonders palette I bought.I have been loving trying it out and I have been inspired by the colour pink to do an all pink festival makeup look! This makeup look will be focusing on the eyes!
I used the Tropical Wonders palette, taking the shade Hibiscus in the crease of my eyes, blending it out to the brow bone. I then took the shade Firefish and blended it all over the lid of the eye. Lightly blending HoneyCreeper in the outer corner of my eyes for more depth. Making sure all the shades were blended together.Continue reading
