A little while ago I got the Be Legendary Liquid Metal Lipstick in Mauve Squad in a gift set from Smashbox. I had never tried a metallic lipstick, I wasn’t sure I’d really wear it. So when I received this one it was a great chance to try one out.
Earlier in the year I treated myself to an LVL treatment, it had been something I had been wanting to try. But with the end of my first year at uni looming I wanted to wait until I’d have time to actually wear makeup and make the most of the treatment. LVL is basically a perm for your eyelashes, it stands for Lengthen, Volume and Lift. I had heard of this for a while before I had it done, but never really understood what it was until I saw a friend had it done and her lashes looked amazing! So after my final assessment was done I decided to treat myself to an LVL. Plus I had many exciting weekends planned so by having my lashes done meant one less step in my makeup routine!
Finding a good mascara can be a challenge. Everyone wants something different from their mascara, whether it be length, volume, thickness or longevity. For me I look for length and longevity. As my fave drugstore mascara by Seventeen has been discontinued it led me to branch out and try other brands to find a replacement. I have tried the Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD Collagen-Coat mascara and thought it was a good mascara, which you can read a full review of here. When I was buying some things from Soap & Glory they had a 3-for-2 offer and so I thought I would try another of their mascara’s.
A little while ago as I was perusing the isles of Boots, I came across the clearance section and to my surprise they had a few Bare Minerals products there, you can check out the other goodies I bought in this haul. When I saw the Original foundation was on sale for £13 rather than £27, I had been wanting to try it and this offer was too good to resist.
Hello everyone! Recently I have been wanting to be more creative and so I was on the hunt for another colourful palette. I had seen the Certifeye palettes on social media and the shade range looked so pretty in the Tropical Wonders palette.
Hello everyone, today I have something a bit different, a clothing haul and review from the brand Femme Luxe. I have also uploaded a new Youtube video too! Not long ago I was contacted by Femme Luxe* to see if I was interested in reviewing some of their clothes. The brand is UK based women’s clothing store, which can be found here.
I had seen their range online by a few people I follow on Instagram, so after looking at their clothing range I decided to take on this opportunity! I picked out 4 of my favourite outfits from the blogger section and eagerly anticipated the parcel to arrive!
I love a good winged liner, so when I find a liner that ticks all the boxes I find it hard to try something new. However, when I saw the Stila Stay All Day Liquid being compared to my holy grail Kat Von D liner I knew I needed to see what it was all about.
In my two years of blogging I have never done a post like this. Over the past few weeks I have had a lot of weekends away, so thought I would share with you what products I take away with me! Personally I only like to take makeup I know is going to work and that I love. This way I know when I’m getting ready I haven’t got to worry about anything creasing or smudging or looking like a hot mess. Plus I don’t like to spend too long on my makeup for the day as I want to be out exploring and making the most of my time off!
A while ago I was contacted by Mel from Unicorn Cosmetics to try some of her products. She kindly sent me over some products of my choice to try, some lashes – which you can read a review here – this beauty egg and a lipgloss. It took me a while to jump on the beauty sponge band wagon, but I have been really enjoying using them and was looking forward to trying this one out!
Hello everyone! The UK has had such beautiful weather over the past few weeks! I think I am permanently on the late band wagon, it took me so long to try a liquid highlighter! However in my defence I didn’t want to fork out £30+ on the Iconic London liquid highlighters as I didn’t know if I would like it plus I couldn’t justify spending that much. I also found there weren’t many cruelty free drugstore ones in my local Boots that I could swatch. I had looked at the Makeup Revolution liquid highlighters but the ones that were in stock weren’t shades that would suit me.
