Within the last year or so I have become obsessed with skincare products. I love trying new products. My collection has grown quite a lot and this is a post I haven’t done before here on my blog. And with lockdown my skin seems to have to gone crazy & breaking out more than I ever have!Continue reading
I love trying skincare, Liz Earle is a brand I haven’t really tried anything from. So when I got this gift set I was looking forward to trying it out. I’ve scored each product what I would give it out of 10. I’ll quickly disclaim that my skin type is a combination of oily/dry.Continue reading
Over the last few months I have been trying out a few different things from Pixi’s skincare range. At the beginning of the year Pixi was introduced to Boots and everything was discounted, so I made the most of the opportunity and bought pretty much everything I’d had my eye on to try. So underneath each mini review I’ll be giving the product a score from 1-10 as to how it did for me. Before we start I’ll quickly disclaim that I have combination skin and prone to redness/breakouts.Continue reading
For a little while I had been wanting to get a Dermaplaning facial. Dermaplaning is a facial treatment that exfoliates and removes peach fuzz, also called velus hair, basically removing the top superficial layer of skin. Resulting in smooth and brighter looking skin. It also allows treatments and products to penetrate deeper into the skin and reach newer cells, as well as an easier makeup application.Continue reading
A little while ago I saw the XO Balm all over my social media, with fellow bloggers raving about how good it was. Curiosity got the better of me, so I messaged Charlotte, the owner, and she kindly sent me over my very own XO Balm*! As the weather is getting colder, my skin gets even drier. Which can lead to dry patches all over and eczema, I’ve tried a few moisturisers to help my dry skin and was curious to see if this one could beat them.
Hi everyone! I hope you have had a fab Christmas whatever you got up to! I have been enjoying spending time with family and been at work! Over the past two months I really haven’t used up that many products! So here is my last empties of the year!
Over the past two months I really haven’t used up that much makeup or skincare. I’ve had a good clear out of the products I know I’m not going to use any more or don’t reach for, so my collection is more condensed and there’s actually room for more! So let’s get into the empties for July and August!
Hello everyone! Doesn’t feel real we are in April! I was hoping to upload my March Favourites but I’m having a few technical difficulties so hopefully it should be up later this week! I’ve had The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser primer for a little while now. It’s something I use in my everyday makeup routine for work. As it’s something I use daily I thought I’d do a review on it!Continue reading
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well! Today’s post is something a little different. I have recently been enjoying reading empties posts and so I decided to try it for myself! So I stashed all the skincare and makeup products I used from the beginning of January until the end of February. I never realised how many products I would use up!
Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fab New Years whatever you got up to! To start off my first post of 2017 I am doing a review on the Boots Botanics Facial Oil 100% Organic. I featured the Boots Botanics Facail Oil in my November favourites and has been one of the best skin care purchases I made in 2016.
This winter has altered my combination skin, indoors my skin is only slightly drier than normal and outside my skin tightens up with cold. Resulting in dry, flaky skin. So when I was prowling the isles of Boots to find a product to save my poor, dry skin I came across the Boots Botanics Facial Oil 100% Organic.Continue reading
